Cartoon Network/Adult Swim released a new look at the upcoming second season of DC’s My Adventures with Superman and fans are prepared for another thrilling adventure!
The latest trailer gives fans a glimpse of what season two will have in store for our favorite trio, even giving subtle hints about who will be coming in the upcoming season. Darkseid, Lex Luthor, and even Kara Zor-El (Supergirl) just to name a few, but we’re going to see the Man of Steel and his friends are going to be put to the test in the upcoming new season.
It was confirmed that season two will premiere on May 25 and will be a one-hour premiere (two episodes back-to-back) with new episodes premiering on Adult Swim with next-day streaming on MAX. While it has been confirmed the main cast will return to reprise their roles, it is important to remember to follow up on the new comic book adaption, which will include series producer Josie Campbell (Writer) and artist Pablo M. Collar (Rogues, Bribones, Sword of Azrael). It picks up from the explosive end of season one, serving as a bridge to the highly anticipated season two, hitting local comic shops and e-retailers on June 4.
My Adventures with Superman is an animated series that brings together the iconic characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joseph Shuster in the modern era with an animesque approach to the Man of Steel. You can catch the first season now on MAX and pre-order it on Amazon, it will be available on May 14.
In the second season, the three best friends face a host of new threats. Powerful foes will emerge from Clark’s alien past, Amanda Waller will take aim at Superman, Lois will grapple with the future, and Jimmy Olsen will spend an unbelievable amount of money. Krypton is coming for our young heroes, and its arrival will test their strength, loyalty and love like never before.
