While there were plenty of leaks on Social Media, Shueisha and Toho Animation have made it official and announced the release date window for the seventh season of My Hero Academia.
It was announced on the TV anime’s official Twitter account that the seventh season would be making its return in Spring 2024. The news follows two months after the reveal of new Pro Hero and Pro Villan Character Visuals.
In addition to the upcoming seventh season, a fourth My Hero Academia movie is currently in production at Studio BONES. My Hero Academia has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since July 2014 and it has been an ongoing series that has been collected into 39 volumes as of November 2023, with Volume 39 currently available now. Viz Media publishes the manga for English audiences with chapters uploaded and available on their Shonen Jump app and Shueisha’s Manga Plus app. Crunchyroll and Hulu stream the TV anime.

Izuku has dreamt of being a hero all his life—a lofty goal for anyone, but especially challenging for a kid with no superpowers. That’s right, in a world where eighty percent of the population has some kind of super-powered “quirk,” Izuku was unlucky enough to be born completely normal. But that’s not enough to stop him from enrolling in one of the world’s most prestigious hero academies.
