Sindel and General Shao Join Mortal Kombat One’s Roster
Evo 2023 showcased the return of Reptile, Ashrah, Havik, and Sadeena (a Kameo fighter), and now we’re seeing two more fighters join the main roster. Queen Sindel and General Shao look to shake things up in Outworld’s favor, as Shujinko and Motaro join the fight as Kameo Fighters. The game will be released on September 19th for the following consoles: Playstation 5, XBox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Players who purchase the Mortal Kombat 1 Premium Edition or Mortal Kombat 1 Kollector’s Edition will have early access to the game beginning Sept. 14th, 2023. It’s available for pre-order now.
Sonic Superstars Unleashes a New Release Date and a Multiplayer Trailer
The moment is getting closer, SEGA has finally announced a new release date for the upcoming side-scroller Sonic Superstars. The new trailer showcased the multiplayer elements of the game which includes a local co-op for up to 4 players, and an online battle mode. Sonic Superstars will be available for PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on October 17th.
The Final Horizon Is The Newest Free Update for Sonic Frontiers
The latest free update will feature a brand-new story for Sonic Frontiers and include new playable characters in Tails, Knuckles, and Amy. New challenges will also be included in the new update, which will launch on September 28th. Sonic Frontiers is available now for Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, PC, XBox One, and XBox X|S.
Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 Is Coming To The Base Game, Alongside Phantom Liberty
CD Projekt Red is preparing to go all in with a brand-new update for Cyberpunk 2077, nicknaming it Cyberpunk 2077 2.0. This new update for the base game will be free for current-gen consoles and PC and Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 will be released for Playstation 5, XBox X|S, and PC starting next month, alongside the Phantom Liberty Expansion, which will be released on September 26th. Here are some of the new features that were featured in the trailer, according to IGN:
- A dangerous new district
- Dozens of new story quests and gigs
- Vehicle combat and mounted weaponry
- Revamped police system
- Combat AI overhaul
- Endless dynamic events and missions
- Redesigned cyberware and perks
- All-new relic skill tree and abilities

Quantic Dream Announces Dustborn
Heavy Rain developer, Quantic Dream announced last night that they are publishing a new indie game titled Dustborn. In this new game, players venture across Neo-Western America as they build relationships with their crew. Dustborn is described as “a single-player, story-driven action-adventure game about hope, love, friendships, robots…and the power of words.” There isn’t a release date yet, however, it will be available for PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), PS5, PS4, and Xbox X|S.
