The Summer is starting to get hotter, and June’s New York Times Best Seller List for Manga and Graphic Novels are getting even more heroic. June saw the return of Kohei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia to the Top Five when the United States No. 1 Hero, Star and Stripe prepared to assist Japan in the fight against All-For-One.
It usually consists of Viz Media’s Shonen Manga, other than My Hero Academia, it is the first volume of Koyoharu Gotouge‘s Demon Slayer was the only two manga titles on this month’s Best Sellers list, which was a big surprise.
The rest of the graphic novels included in the list were graphic novels that were for younger readers. It includes a new title that focuses on a true event in history, the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. My Hero Academia Volume 34 is available now where books are sold.
All For One’s will has taken root in Tomura’s mind, and this new entity is now a global threat. Even so, the United Nations is hesitant to dispatch heroes to Japan, but Star and Stripe—the U.S.A.’s number one hero—arrives to tackle this menace head-on. In the skies over the Pacific, the combatants size each other up, trying to gain an advantage, but there’s no telling who’ll be left standing after the dust settles on this epic duel.
