It’s the biggest event coming back from the dead. (Literally!) and that is based on Haro Aso and Kotaro Takata’s Dystopian Horror Comedy Manga Series, Zom 100: Bucket List of The Dead TV Anime. It was announced that it would be premiering in July.

That’s not all. This Zombie Comedy will also premiere on both Netflix and Hulu on July 9th. KAN-BOON is set to perform the opening theme, Song of the Dead. The ending theme will be performed by Shiyui, titled Happiness of the Dead.

Kazuki Kawagoe will be directing the series at BUG FILMS, with Hanako Ueda serving as assistant director. Hiroshi Seko is writing the series composition, Ki Tanaka is handling the character designs for the animation, and Junpei Fukuchi designing the zombies.

Viz Media licensed the series for North America, New Zealand, Latin America, and Australia.

In a trash-filled apartment, 24-year-old Akira Tendo watches a zombie movie with lifeless, envious eyes. After spending three hard years at an exploitative corporation in Japan, his spirit is broken. He can’t even muster the courage to confess his feelings to his beautiful co-worker Ohtori. Then one morning, he stumbles upon his landlord eating lunch—which happens to be another tenant! The whole city’s swarming with zombies, and even though he’s running for his life, Akira has never felt more alive!
