It’s the moment everyone has waited for. Pickle has awakened, and he is ready to take on Baki and anyone who stands in his way. The second season trailer has shown us that this Ancient Brawler is not a pushover. And it confirmed several new things and a July release Date.
In a surprising change to the Opening and Ending theme artists, Granrodeo isn’t performing the opening this time. It is the Wagakki Band performing The Beast. For the ending theme, it is UPSTART performing WILDER.
It has been confirmed that the staff and cast from the first season will be returning for season two, along with Takeshi Kusao (Dragon Ball Super, Major, Saint Seiya) as Pickle, and Nobuo Tobita (Case Closed, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation) as Dr. Albert Payne, the scientist responsible for reviving Pickle. The First Part covers The Tale of Pickle/The Pickle Wars and will premiere on July 26th, while Father Vs. Son (Part Two) will premiere on August 24th on Netflix.
