I’m afraid I have some bad news for those who are fans of the My Hero Academia manga. It was announced yesterday on the official My Hero Academia Twitter Account that the manga will be taking a week off due to the poor health of its creator, Kohei Horikoshi.

While it isn’t specified what Horikoshi has, all we can hope for is that he gets better soon. And hope he’ll get plenty of rest.

The latest chapter was scheduled to be released in the third issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump, which would have been on December 19th. Instead, it is scheduled to continue its heroic battle in the combined issues of 4th and 5th on December 26th.
