Record of Ragnarok II to Have Fifteen Episode Length, Set to Debut In January

We’re following up on an announcement from August. The battle between the Gods and Humankind has been taken to another level in the anime adaption of Shinya Umemura, Ajichika, and Takumi Fukui’s Record of Ragnarok.

It has been confirmed by Anime News Network that the second season will be fifteen episodes long. It will feature theme music by Singer Minami, who will perform the opening theme song titled “Rude, Loose Dance.” While musician, Masatoshi Ono will perform the ending theme song “Inori” (Prayer).

While it would have a fifteen-episode length, it will be divided into two parts. The first ten episodes will premiere on January 26th, 2023, while the other five will debut later in 2023.

Record of Ragnarok‘s 12-episode first season was premiered exclusively on Netflix worldwide in June 2021. It was directed by Masao Okubo at Graphinica x Yumeta Company. The staff from the first season return with the second season premiering once again on Netflix.
