It’s certainly a good year for Classic Manga. For example, Slam Dunk, and City Hunter are both getting new films and Urusei Yatsura is getting a brand new anime series. Now it is Tsukasa Hojo’s Cat’s Eye in the spotlight.
This new project celebrates both the 50th anniversary of the Lupin III anime and the 40th anniversary of Tsukasa Hojo’s Cat’s Eye Manga. It will be set in Cat’s Eye’s original 1980s time period. The Cat’s Eye Sisters are again aiming to steal three paintings that once belonged to their father. But this time, it is Lupin who is after the same thing! But, the paintings will also reveal a long-buried mystery.
Kanichi Kurita and Keiko Toda are both reprising their roles as Lupin III, and Hitomi Kisugi. Listed below is the Crew List who will be involved in the upcoming Cel-Shaded CG Crossover. The series will premiere on Amazon Prime Video worldwide in 2023.
