You’ve Gotta Be Kitten Me! Tokyo Mew Mew is coming back with a new TV Anime Series in July

The Cat is out of the bag! Tokyo Mew Mew is coming back with a brand new anime series, the trailer was released during a Special Livestream event, which included a song performed by the cast unit Smewthie titled “Cat!! Shite Super Girls“.

Also unveiled during the new event were new cast members, here are the newest members so far:

*Yūma Uchida* as **Masaya Aoyama**, the top student of his grade at Ichigo’s school.

Ryō Shirogane- Tokyo Mew Mew — *Yūichi Nakamura* as **Ryo Shirogane**, a mysterious, rich high school student who launches the μ (pronounced “myū”) Project to defend Earth from aliens.

Keiichiro Akasaka- Tokyo Mew Mew — *Yusuke Shirai* as **Keiichiro Akasaka**, the lead figure in UMA (unidentified mysterious animal) research who spearheads the μ Project with Shirogane.

Masha- Tokyo Mew Mew — *Kaori Ishihara* as **Masha**, a high-end R-2000 robot.

Tokyo Mew Mew New is directed by Takahiro Natori and features animation production by Yumeta Company and Graphinica. The series is scheduled to broadcast in Japan on the TV Tokyo network beginning in July of 2022.
