
Big news coming your way from The Hollywood Reporter, looks like Sex Bomb-omb is preparing for an encore performance!
The Hit-Graphic Novel Series by Bryan Lee O’Malley ‘Scott Pilgrim,’ which was adapted into a Live-Action Film and Video Game, is now going to be adapted into an Anime Series.
Netflix and UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group behind The Umbrella Academy and the USA Network’s Chucky, are developing this brand-new adaption, but there hasn’t been a series order yet.
Series Creator, Bryan Lee O’Malley will be handling the writing while BenDavid Grabinski, the showrunner behind the revival of Are You Afraid of the Dark? Will be Executive Producing the series, the duo will showrun the series if it should move forward with the studio, Science Saru handling the animation production. Meanwhile, The company’s Eunyoung Choi will serve as producer and Abel Gongora as a director on the series. The band members from the 2010 movie are also on hand for the anime. Wright and producing partner Nira Park will receive exec producer credits along with Marc Platt, Jared LeBoff, and Adam Seigel of Marc Platt Productions, and Michael Bacall.
