“You may have won the battle, but not the War!” An old phrase that has been uttered throughout time and clíche villain battles but this time it’s for a good cause, recently, the official website for the TV Anime, Our Last Crusade or the Rise of the New World Official Website confirmed that it would be getting another season and currently is in production. A new teaser was also unveiled to promote the new season announcement, mentioning that Love and War go hand and hand. The original cast would also be making a return for the Second Season as well.
The Series was adapted from the Light Novel Series written by Kei Sazane and illustrated by Ao Nekonabe, making its debut in May 2017 under the Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint by the Fujimi Shobo Publishing Company, there are currently Eleven Light Novels in the series with the Eleventh Volume making its debut in May 2021. Meanwhile, Yen Press acquired the series in North America and published the first volume in September 2019, the seventh volume goes on sale October 12th, 2021. As for the Anime, it made its debut in Fall 2020 and is streaming on Funimation.
