In May we lost a legendary manga creator, Kentarou Miura. It has been two months since his passing and now there is news coming from Publisher Hakusensha, their Young Animal Magazine’s Official Website announced this year’s 18th issue will have a brand new chapter of Berserk and will pay tribute to Miura, with a Special Memorial Booklet that will come with a Colored Poster.
It was unknown what would happen next with the Berserk manga series after the death of Miura, and after publishing the 364th chapter but for now, it will remain a mystery with the last chapter. The 18th issue will go on sale on September 10th, The memorial booklet, titled “Messages to KENTAROU MIURA,” will feature messages from Miura’s closest friends and colleagues in the manga world, including Akkiu, Nico Nicholson, Shizuya Wazarai, Ena Moriyama, Kouji Mori, Tamami Momose, Katsu Aki, Chica Umino, Satoru Akahori, and more.
