Hiroshi Nagahama and Jason DeMarco give an update regarding Junji Ito’s next anime series.
In September 2019, it was announced that Adult Swim would be partnering with the Studio, Production I.G to adapt Junji Ito’s Horror Manga Uzumaki. Handling the role of Director is Animator Hiroshi Nagahama and today, he has provided fans a new update on the Four-Episode Series, due to the impact COVID has had on the Anime Industry and has impacted Uzumaki’s Production, causing them to restructure their plan from the start. Jason DeMarco, the co-creator and Executive Producer of Adult Swim also released a statement, share the bad news that fans would have to wait more than a year to see Uzumaki finally hit the programming block, but touted how amazing the series is looking in development.
