When I heard that Ta-Nehisi Coates was ending his run on Captain America in June, I was devastated, now his other series Black Panther is ending with Issue 25 and I’m heartbroken, say what you want about him but Ta-Nehisi Coates did a phenomenal job on both series and it is a shame to see it end. Issue 25 is set to go on sale this Wednesday (May 26th), with the end of the current storyline The Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda, T’Challa has been to hell and back, isn’t a stranger to facing danger but after expanding Wakanda in the distant stars, he will have to go back to the home he left behind. Here is a synopsis of what you can expect this week at your Comic Book Shop, and what might be going to be on your pull list:
“THE FINAL ISSUE OF TA-NEHISI COATES’ LANDMARK RUN!
It’s the end of an era for the Black Panther as renowned writer Ta-Nehisi Coates concludes his Wakandan epic! Over four years, Coates has taken the Black Panther to hell and back and expanded Wakanda into the distant stars. Now, in his final issue, he brings T’Challa full circle, back to the home he left behind… and the crown he has never fully accepted. This is the story of a king who sought to be a hero, a hero who was reduced to a slave, a slave who advanced into legend…and the man who has struggled to hold up an empire in his bare hands. The journey will conclude, but the legend remains. Don’t miss the close of a historic epoch in comic history!“
Next up, we’ll be providing you with the Preview and the Variant Covers.

With one chapter ending for T’Challa and the World of Wakanda, another one will be beginning this August with Academy Award-Winning Writer John Ridley and Artist Juann Cabal. You can find more information on that over at Marvel.
