Japan’s Health Ministry posts Cells at Work! Manga COVID-19, All-New Vaccine Chapters For Free!

You can’t keep a Good Cell Down! The Cells at Work! gang is back and working overtime thanks to a brand new way to view the new COVID-19 chapters from Akane Shimizu’s Cells at Work! manga series.

First reported on the Mainichi Shimbun Mantan’s Web, PR Times, and Anime News Network, Kodansha collaborated with the Japan International Cooperation Agency, the National Center for Global Health and Medicine, the ICheck home COVID-19 detection kit program, and the AnyMind technology company.

Kodansha also announced that it and Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare would be posting the “New Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19)” chapter along with a brand new chapter titled “COVID-19 Vaccine” in a motion comic format (added sound effects) in Japanese, English, and Hindi. The Japanese version of both chapters is already available. If you recall in January when the original manga ended with the “New Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19)” Chapter but the “COVID-19 vaccine” chapter is an all-new chapter, supervised by Shimizu, and drawn by Kairemeku.
