Jujutsu Kaisen Manga Tops 40 Million Copies in Circulation

Jujutsu Kaisen has done it again, the Supernatural and Dark Fantasy Series has broken another record in sales according to a new report from Shueisha and The Mainichi Shimbun’s Mantan Web News Service that it has topped 40 Million Copies, including in Print and Digital Sales.

The Manga’s Circulation rose around 470% and that has been only half a year since the premiere of the Anime in October 2020. This also includes Jujutsu Kaisen 0, the Prequel story that will be adapted into a brand new film.

Anime News Network’s Rafael Antonio Pineda highlighted the sales, starting from October 2020 and leading up to March 2021, Volume 15 is also included which was shipped on February 4th. The Fifteenth Volume sold around 1.5 Million Copies, noting that it was the first time that any of the manga’s volumes has had more than 1 million copies in its initial run.

  • 8.5 million in early October
  • 10 million on October 29
  • 15 million on December 16
  • 20 million on January 13
  • 25 million on January 26
  • 30 million on February 9
  • 35 million on March 4
