One Hour ago, Crunchyroll announced that it would be launching its annual Crunchyroll Expo as a Virtual Expo again this year, the decision was made by the staff to ensure the safety of Attendees, Exhibitors, and of course, the Staff. If you recall in 2020, the physical portion of the Expo was canceled due to the ongoing COVID-19 Epidemic, moving it to an Online Event instead.
There are currently no further details but rest assured to stay tuned to the Expo’s Social Media Channels and their Official Website for more details coming soon. The Expo is set to run on August 5th- August 7th.
A note for ticket holders who rolled their CRX Expo 2020 tickets over for this year, those can be saved for the 2022 in-person event (even if prices change), or you’ll be able to request a full refund. Exhibitors who bought a physical booth space for CRX 2020 can also roll their booth space purchase to 2022 at 2020 prices, or choose a full refund by emailing CrunchyrollExpoInfo@reedexpo.com.
