Marvel Anime Wolverine and X-Men are coming to Netflix on December 16th.

According to Netflix and their App, Marvel’s X-Men and Wolverine will be coming to Netflix on December 16th. Both Series are part of the Marvel Anime line-up consisting of Iron-Man, Blade, Wolverine, and X-Men; each series was in a four Twelve-Part Series that aired on Animax, a Japanese Satellite Anime Television Network. At that time, The announcement was confirmed at the 2009 San Diego Comic-Con. According to former Madhouse President and CEO Jungo Maruta, Marvel gave the anime studio free rein to re-imagine the Marvel superheroes for Japanese audiences. It would eventually be picked up by the United States and get an English Dub that would premiere on G4 that ran between July 2011 and April 2012. Each of the series, guided by writer Warren Ellis, largely features Japan as the setting for the storyline.
