Playstation Five Release Window on Japan Employment Website was an Error according to Sony

With fans eagerly waiting for the Playstation Five, there have been reports or rumors about the PS5 release date whether it would be releasing before the holidays, after the holidays (due to the ongoing Covid-19 Crisis), but in a new article from Gematsu and Famitsu, the job posting from a Japanese recruitment website called Rikunabi had a post that had a job recruitment message from Sony Interactive was an error and the post has been removed; the message below is what it read:

“You will handle the prototyping and purchasing of PlayStation hardware products. Choose the optimal suppliers from domestic and overseas partners, cooperate with the design and quality assurance departments on specification adjustments and production capacity for hardware parts, and build up the October 2020-due PlayStation 5.”

Currently, the release date is still set for “Holidays 2020” but in the meantime, Sony Interactive Entertainment streamed a new video along with the announcement of the new Playstation Studios Brand for its first-party game studio; below is an animation that was streamed on Tuesday.
