My Hero Academia: Episodes 69-76

Tengai’s Barrier Quirk is useful, the only downfall to it was it most likely requires a lot of concentration to keep the barrier walls strong enough to block attacks, with Fat Gum absorbing all of those Physical blows to attribute his enhanced strength and durability made him an unstoppable force in this battle. These battles were great appetizers in terms of how big of an arc that fans were expecting it to be, with Fat Gum and Red Riot taking care of their wounds we move onward with Himiko Toga and Twice joining in on the battle, both of their quirks were a good choice in the case of assisting the Yakuza, even if it were just for their own means and not the Shie Hassaikai. Toga ambushing Rock Lock and transforming into him would have worked if Eraserhead didn’t get involved but where is the fun of not causing chaos for fun, am I right? This episode served as a cynical take on the world of superheroes, but also to show that even with All-For-One’s Intentions there is a Family type of bond in the League of Villains.

Here comes everyone’s favorite hero, the man, the myth, and he has his own suit made from his own hair! (Somebody has been taking tailor lessons from Bayonetta!) Lemillion! The Big Three has always been a bit of eyecatcher since their introduction, it was leading to something monumental such as this story arc, this served as the foundation to Mirio Togata’s story, but it leads to the young hero to admit his guilt for not saving Eri that day no thanks to Nemeto’s Quirk making Mirio admit it. Even though it didn’t have the stellar animation fans were hoping it to have had been adapted from the Manga pages between Overhaul and Lemillion but when it came to Sir Nighteye’s recommendation of Mirio being All-Might’s Successor; this was the type of situation that he foresaw in his vision.
