After the risk-taking move of making an animated series of the Lackluster series known as “Sonic Boom,” the only thing that worked for the series was the fourth wall antics of Sonic and the gang. As we move forward in time the world was introduced to a series of animated shorts that were made for Sonic Mania that was called Sonic Mania Adventure.

It was made in thanks to a group of talented animators, one of them was named Tyson Hesse and a Company called Neko Productions; later they would surprise the world again with another series of shorts for another Sonic Video Game called Team Sonic Racing.
Recently, ComicBook had an interview with SEGA’s Director of Animation named Yukio Kusumoto, one of the things they discussed was the success of Animated shorts for Sonic Mania and Team Sonic Racing; here is a quote from that interview:
“I think the world is definitely ready for another TV show, and I would love to work on it. There are several discussions and this is coming from me personally […] I would love Sonic to continue, so I’ll keep trying to put more stuff out there.”

What are your thoughts on this? Do you think the world is ready for a new Sonic TV Show?
