Danmachi fans may feel a void in their life after Season Two ended and wondering when or if it would pick up the third season, well wait no longer! It was announced today that DanMachi (known to Western fans as “Is it wrong to pick up girls in a dungeon?“) Will be picking up the third season and an OVA that is currently in the works, it has a release for January 29th, 2020.
Never heard of this series? Well, it started out originally as a Light Novel series written by Fujinio Omori and illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda. Some describe the series as a “Harem” series but others argue that it is a Seinen Series. The OVA will include a special case illustrated by character designer Shigeki Kimoto, a new story by the light novel author, and a special booklet.
