Pokemon Sword and Shield Nintendo Direct Coming in Early June

According to Polygon, Nintendo will be broadcasting a Nintendo Direct Livestream presentation on June 5th, promising new details regarding the new Pokemon RPG for the Switch, Pokemon Sword, and Pokemon Shield.

The Direct will be 15 minutes long, airing at 9 a.m ET/6 a.m. PT on Nintendo’s Youtube Channel and their Twitch Channel. This will give Nintendo time to focus on Pokemon RPGs on the Switch ahead of e3, which the Company already have a Nintendo Direct planned for June 11th, the day when e3 officially begins. What will they be offering?

“Focusing entirely on software, [and] will offer a look at games scheduled to launch in 2019.” Switch titles slated for this year include Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Astral Chain, Animal Crossing for Nintendo Switch, Daemon X Machina, Luigi’s Mansion 3, and The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening.”
