Flash Fact: The Designer who made Brec’s Stargirl costume also designed costumes for other DC shows such as Black Lightning, Doom Patrol, and Titans. The Designer’s name? Laura Jean Shannon.

Harley Quinn: The Series

Following Titans Season Two’s suit, the new show is set to premiere in Fall 2019.

Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco serves as both the series’s executive producer and star, playing the titular lead. Diedrich Bader, who provided the voice of Batman in The Brave and the Bold, will once again portray the Dark Knight. Joining the two are Lake Bell as Poison Ivy, Alan Tudyk as the Joker, Ron Funches, JB Smoove, Jason Alexander, Wanda Sykes, Giancarlo Esposito, Natalie Morales, Jim Rash, Tony Hale and Chris Meloni as Commissioner Gordon.

The series will offer fans 26 episodes of graphic violence and lewd content.

Swamp-Thing

If you’re like me, grew up in the 90s you would probably remember the corny tune of the Swamp-Thing Cartoon intro “Swamp-Thing!… You are Amazing!” Good times… Anyway, onto the newer Swamp-Thing series news, the series will debut on DC Universe May 31. The series is based on the DC Comics character of the same name created by writer Len Wein and artist Bernie Wrightson.

Updated Comic Book Library

The addition of what’s called “many thousands [of] single issue comics published over 80 years” will be an ongoing process, with all future DC single issues being added to the service 12 months after print publication, starting in April. The significant upgrade to the digital comics portfolio on the service — which launched last year with a curated selection of single issues — will be added with no price increase, according to DC.

“From the time DC Universe launched last year, our fans have loved the comic experience and have asked us for just one thing – more! The expansion to thousands of titles in January 2019 was a first step in our goal to deliver on that request, to provide DC Universe members full access to the pantheon of DC’s epic Super Hero stories,” DC Universe senior vice president and general manager, Sam Ades, said in a statement. “We’re thrilled to respond to our fans yet again with the incredible value of the ultimate DC digital comics library.”
