2026 is truly the Year of Agito—and it’s burning brighter than ever! With a new film hitting theaters April 29 and the True Agito Exhibition opening April 24, the latest buzz comes from a stunning new AD: Toshiki Kashu (Shouichi Tsugami) confronts True Agito face-to-face, past memories flashing in an emotional callback to the series’ legacy.

This AD marks the debut of the AriGaTΩ Project—a heartfelt endeavor sparked by Toshiki Kashu’s personal vision. In the spot, he comes face-to-face with True Agito, embodying 25 years of pride in portraying the role and his constant presence for the fans. It’s his profound way of saying ‘thank you’ to all who’ve kept Agito’s soul burning bright. Here are some fun facts about the new project:

Something I covered in my previous coverage of the Kuuga Exhibition last year was the introduction of series merchandise. Toei unveiled new visual that highlights special Kamen Rider Agito merchandise for the Series’s 25th Anniversary. It is part of the Kamen Rider Agito 25th Anniversary Fair, taking place at the Kamen Rider Store Tokyo (where a life-sized Agito: Burning Form is currently on display) which began on March 19. For a detailed list of what is offered, click here. Finally, the Series’s Logo has been updated once again, featuring Kamen Rider Agito, Kamen Rider G3, and Kamen Rider Gills.

Finally, the main visual for the Exhibition has been released, featuring Agito, Gills, and G3 (with suit actors Yuya Nawata as Agito, Daiki Maruyama as G3, and Kenya Saito as Gills) in a homage to the Television Series. The tagline reading “Awaken, True Soul!” With the theme being “Beyond the Return to Origin” that created a mysterious atmosphere, also featuring figures in the shadows, what do they mean? What is the significance of the hand poses? The mystery may be solved at the True Agito Exhibition, taking place at the Sunshine City Exhibition Hall A in Ikebukuro from April 24th to May 12th, 2026.

A fun fact about Kamen Rider Agito was that it was not only the eleventh installment in the Kamen Rider series, but he was also the second Heisei Era Rider. The series also represented the 30th Anniversary of the Kamen Rider franchise. The series began as a joint-collaboration between Asatsu-DK and Toei, and it was shown on TV Asahi from January 28, 2001, to January 27, 2002. The series was an indirect sequel to Kamen Rider Kuuga, it was set in the same universe, but it was the first Kamen Rider series not to have an ending sequence.

Since his television debut, Agito has had two specials, a movie, a novel, video games, his own manga (including the appearance in Toshiki Inoue and Hitotsu Yokoshima’s Kamen Rider Kuuga manga), numerous crossover appearances across other Kamen Rider shows, Super Hero Taisen films, and a stage event. You can watch the first two episodes of Kamen Rider Agito on the Toei Tokusatsu World Official YouTube Channel.
