The Original Red Makes His Appearance in Pokémon Masters EX

Worlds collide! The original Pokémon protagonist RED takes on a new way to battle in Pokémon Masters EX! It is also holding a double anniversary celebration to commemorate 30 years of Pokémon and 6.5 years of Pokémon Masters EX. Three exciting sync pairs are arriving soon in Pokémon Masters EX, bringing back classic favorites and showcasing recently discovered Legendary Pokémon. Photo missions will also be available! You can obtain a special 30-year celebration photo frame and title, as well as additional rewards. Listed below are the pairs that will be coming to EX, and be sure to log back in to receive a gift of 3,000 gems!

Pokémon GO

Pokémon GO is celebrating two anniversaries this year, Pokémon 30th Anniversary and GO’s 10th Anniversary. What better way to celebrate than by catching and battling Pokémon? Pokémon that have appeared in Pokémon GO will be appearing again all at once and for three days only, from Saturday, March 7, to Monday, March 9, 2026. There will also be another event themed around the Kanto region from Tuesday, March 3, to Friday, March 6th. And if that wasn’t enough, a two-day global Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos – Global event will occur from Saturday, February 28, to Sunday, March 1st. To collect the special code to pick up the first Kalos Starter Pokémon, head over to Pokémon’s official website.

Pokémon Sleep

You won’t have to look under a truck in Vermillion City for this Mythical Pokémon, but Mew will be drifting into the dreams of Trainers in a new event in Pokémon Sleep! There have been reports that the Mythical Pokémon Mew has been spotted in many areas.

Pokémon Unite

Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres are joining the fray in Pokémon UNITE. This trio of legendary bird Pokémon will be soaring into battle as playable characters. You can get their Unite licenses by participating in a limited-time event. Also, an Electrode Volleyball world tour is coming soon!

Pokémon Café ReMix

To celebrate 30 years of Pokémon, you can add three Pokémon first discovered in the Kanto region to your game. Then, be on the lookout for more Pokémon and chef outfits coming soon. Spice up your café with customization decorations, too. Pokémon Café Remixed is available to download now on Apple’s App Store, Google Play, and Nintendo Switch.
