Spider-Noir’s Teaser Trailer Swings In, Teasing A Premiere Date

The moment Marvel and Spider-Man fans have been waiting for has arrived. The first teaser trailer for Spider-Noir. The new series is set to make its debut in late May 2026.

In a new press release, Nicholas Cage’s first leading Television role is set to premiere worldwide on May 27th, 2026. Spider-Noir was produced by Sony Pictures Television, but it will air exclusively on Prime Video and MGM+, the series will also debut on MGM+’s linear broadcast channel on May 25th and then globally on Amazon’s Prime Video as a Binge Release in more than 240 Countries and territories. The new series will also introduce a new way for viewers and fans to enjoy the viewing experience “Authentic Black & White” and “True-Hue Full Color” for audiences to choose their own adventure to watch. Listed below are samples of each viewing experience.

The cast consists of Academy Award-winning Actor Nicolas Cage (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Ghost Rider, Face/Off) as Ben Reilly/Spider-Man Noir, Lamorne Morris (New Girl, Fargo, Bloodshot) as Robbie Roberston, Li Jun Li (Sinners, Quantico, Damages) as Cat Hardy, Karen Rodriguez (The Big Leap, The Hunting Wives, Power Book IV: FORCE) as Janet, and Jack Huston. Guest stars include Lukas Haas, Cameron Britton, Cary Christopher, Michael Kostroff, Scott MacArthur, Joe Massingill, Whitney Rice, Amanda Schull, Andrew Caldwell, Amy Aquino, Andrew Robinson and Kai Caster. For the staff, we have Harry Bradbeer (“Fleabag,” “Killing Eve”) is directing and executive producing the first two episodes, with Oren Uziel (“The Lost City,” “22 Jump Street”) and Steve Lightfoot (“Marvel’s The Punisher,” “Shantaram”) serving as co-showrunners and executive producers. The series was developed with “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” filmmakers Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and Amy Pascal, who also executive produce.

Spider-Man Noir was created by David Hine, Carmine Di Giandomenico, and Marko Djurdjević. Spider-Man Noir is part of the Spider-Man Comic Series created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. Noir made his debut in Marvel’s Marvel Noir Comic Line in 2009 and would go onto having his own book series (including the most recent title The Gwen Stacy Affair), appearing in crossover stories such as Spider-Verse and Spider-Geddon. He would appear in other media such as the animated series Ultimate Spider-Man, including a nod to the hero in Avengers Assemble, video games appearances, an appearance in Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse, Across the Spider-Verse, and the upcoming third film, Beyond the Spider-Verse, and in other pop culture references.
