It has been one of Kodansha’s hottest new Fantasy titles on Comic Days and KMANGA ever since its release last year. It is now preparing for the release of its first Tankobon volume in Japan. I am talking about Ryo Sumiyoshi’s Si Land, which goes on sale in ten days.

The first volume cover was teased December 10, 2025 on the manga’s Official Twitter Account, confirming that the front cover would feature Jean, a young dog in search of his mother, who vanished after their home was invaded by pirates. The back cover, which was later revealed features Zahab, the “Lion of the Ocean.” The first volume is set to go on sale on January 14, 2026 in Print and Digital. The Digital Edition will include newly drawn color illustrations & setting collections that couldn’t fit into the print edition due to page limitations, this was also confirmed by the manga’s social media post on December 16, 2025. If you are not familiar with Sumiyoshi’s work, he is known for past works such as MADK, Our Torsos Align: Human x Monster Love, ASHIDAKA -The Iron Hero, and most recently, Centaurs.
