Six months later, we’re finally getting another look at the upcoming 2v2 Tag Team Fighting game, Saturday AM: Battle Manga. At the moment, this game still doesn’t have a release date but it does reveal that it will be coming to PC via Steam.
The trailer highlights Battles between Saturday AM’s characters from stories such as Apple Black, Clock Striker, Soul Beat, and Hammer. It also confirms that it will include rollback netcode, but no console availability has been confirmed yet, but is already available to add to the wishlist on STEAM. A new post was shared on the Official Saturday AM Twitter page they have planned to include “14 characters, popular & NEW voice actors, and some ambitious features.”
What Is Saturday AM: Battle Manga?
From the developer that brought you Netcode Warriors, Son Studios announced Saturday AM: Battle Manga, based on the Shonen Manga Anthology, Saturday AM. Saturday AM: Battle Manga brings fan-favorite original manga characters from Apple Black, Clock Striker, Massively Multiplayer World of Ghosts, Soul Beat, and others into an accessible but mechanically rich tag fighter. Each fighter offers a completely distinct gameplay feel, with easy-to-learn controls built around classic motion inputs and competitive depth built in. The game features stylized visuals with boutique animation techniques to capture an expressive, manga-like presentation unique to each of the original artists, evoking the aesthetic of panel-driven storytelling while keeping gameplay crisp and readable.

Fun fact about Saturday AM, it was created by Frederick L. Jones and published by MyFutprint Entertainment. This new publication is not only a unique manga brand, but it is also the World’s Most Diverse Manga Anthology that features an ever-growing catalog of diverse, lines of action-themed manga webcomics. It was created by independent creators from around the world who offer a variety of genres of manga that include Shonen, Seinen, and Josei.
