Normally, I wouldn’t be writing about a Comic Book Dub. But after listening to another dub from voice actor Aleks Le (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Solo Leveling, DanDaDan) for DC’s Absolute Batman, it has me hoping that Warner Bros. Animation and DC would hire him to voice as the Caped Crusader if they adapt it into an Animated Film.
In this new dub, Aleks Le does a phenomenal job as Batman, who was paying homage to Kevin Conroy, the voice actor known for his work on Batman The Animated Series. The Dub Creative Team consists of Aleks Le (Voicing Batman/Bruce Wayne), Isabella (isahowdy, Illustrator and Panel Redraws), voice actor Frank Todaro (Reporter), Diego Woods (Editing), and finally, NortFX (Digital Artist, Thumbnail Design). This wasn’t the first time he has provided a dub in relation to comic books, he provided the viral manga dub of Takeru Hokazono’s Kagurabachi.
Absolute Batman is a brand-new comic book series based on the iconic hero Batman, who was created by writer Bill Finger and Artist Bob Kane. The series is written by Scott Snyder (Batman, Swamp-Thing, American Vampire) and illustrated by Nick Dragotta (East of West, Ghost Cage), it was the first title in DC’s latest line of comics Absolute Universe, an all-new continuity separate from the DC Universe (DCU) that offers a more modern and reimagined version of DC’s characters. The imprint is part of the DC All In initiative, debuting in the aftermath of the 2024 Absolute Power crossover event. It was launched that year with the publication that also included Absolute Wonder Woman and Absolute Superman. Absolute Batman is already 15 issues in (including an annual title) and its first issue has already reached its tenth printing.

Batman was created by writer Bill Finger and artist Bob Kane, Batman made his debut in Detective Comics Issue #27 on March 30, 1939. Since his debut, Batman has made numerous appearances in Comic Books, Animation, Radio and Film serials, television, films, and video games.
Without the wealth, without the cave, he’s still the Absolute Dark Knight!
Synopsis
Meet Batman as you’ve never seen him before, reimagined with a modern origin story at the hands of superstar creative team Scott Snyder and Nick Dragotta!
An astonishing new version of DC’s iconic characters is here! In the Absolute Universe, familiar heroes have been reinvented from the ground up with origin stories that completely reshape both their abilities and their circumstances but maintain the core characteristics that fans have known and loved for decades!
Bruce Wayne comes from nothing. He’s not the scion of a wealthy empire in Gotham City, he’s the son of a public school teacher who he experienced the unimaginable horror of random gun violence as a child, changing the trajectory of his life forever. With no limitless resources, no billions to fund him, no mansion, and no butler to care for him, Bruce has shaped himself into an entirely different breed of Batman, one that is equal parts brain and brawn, who exists exclusively in the grittiest and most underserved parts of Gotham with no high society mask to fall back on.
