Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity Gets Another Teaser Trailer

Four days ago, we got our first teaser trailer for Toei’s Super Sentai Successor, Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity. Now, we have not only another teaser trailer, but two new images that tease a silver and gold metal hero!

“WHO IS THE TRUE HERO?“ The new teaser trailer asks, while the two new visuals that were also released had taglines that read “Vapor Deposition” (a method of coating materials such as in metalizing) for the silver visual and Gavan in “Golden Glory, reaching for the heavens.” Toei also released another new behind-the-scenes video on their Tokusatsu Fan Club YouTube channel (TTFC), once again, it is region-locked. They also confirmed that more clues are coming on Christmas Day. New information regarding the cast and plot will be revealed at a later date.

What is P.R.O.J.E.C.T RED?

Taking its name from the initials of “Records of Extraordinary Dimensions,” it represents a saga of multidimensional heroism. Staying true to the name R.E.D. the new initiative will center on “red heroes,” while expanding into a large-scale, multi-title universe where several works intersect and grow into a cohesive world.

This marks a milestone in Japanese Hero Entertainment, the first major transformation in fifty years of the Super Sentai broadcast slot (which has been confirmed to be going on Hiatus), and what better way to change the entertainment landscape with the return of the Space Sheriff series, starting with the newly announced Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity! A reimagining of the classic Space Sheriff Gavan series from 1982, by rebuilding its world from the ground up. When the original Gavan series first debuted in Japan, and abroad, it captivated audiences with its metallic suit and space-themed action, leaving a historic mark on 1980s special effects entertainment. The 2026 version takes that innovative spirit and pushes it forward with the latest visual technologies. In an era where AI and space exploration are part of everyday reality, the series aims to portray a new vision of the science-fiction hero.
