After the recent firing of Maya Imamori (who issued an apology on her Instagram), her replacement is about to make her appearance in the 40th episode of No. 1 Sentai Gozyuger. Donbrothers Actress Kohaku Shida will take on the mantle of Gozyu-Unicorn on November 30th.
While she’s no stranger to Super Sentai, the newest preview images of the upcoming episode show Shida and the others preparing for a frightening task of turning the city back to normal after it was turned into a giant Obakeyashiki (Haunted House)! The residents are forced to play ghosts, meanwhile, they find Bouquet and Ribbon there too. Separated from Ribbon, Bouquet trembles in fear of the ghosts, but fatefully reunites with her beloved Rikuo. Their sudden closeness creates a heart-pounding situation! No. 1 Sentai Gozyuger is the 49th installment in the Super Sentai Franchise, which commemorates Super Sentai‘s 50th Anniversary, and the sixth Sentai team to debut in the Reiwa Era. The series is the first to combine the motifs of modern, prehistoric, and mythical creatures and is the third special anniversary series, following Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger and Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger.

The series premiered on February 16, 2025, joining Kamen Rider Gavv in the Super Hero Time lineup on TV Asahi following the finale of Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger. Catch No. 1 Sentai Gozyuger and Kamen Rider Zeztz on TV Asahi’s Super Hero Time block, airing every Sunday at 9:30 a.m.
