Bukimi Miki’s Beloved Superhero Manga, SHY came to an end with its final chapter (No. 293) published in the 49th issue of Weekly Shonen Champion, which went on sale on November 6.

After a six-year run, SHY reached the finale which consisted of 29 pages and a center color illustration. SHY series creator, Bukimi Miki uploaded a special illustration on their social media account on Twitter, thanking readers and fans for their support.

Bukimi Miki’s SHY was first serialized in Akita Shoten’s shonen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Champion from August 2019 to November 2025. As of October 2025, it has been collected into thirty-one tankōbon volumes. The manga has been licensed in many countries including Europe (2020), France (Kana, September 2020), Germany (Kazé, October 2020), Spain (Panini Comics, April 2021), and finally, Italy (Planet Manga, July 2021.)  In July 2022, at Anime Expo, Yen Press announced that it has licensed the manga for English release in North America. Volume 11 is on sale now, while Volume 12 is available for Pre-Order. It inspired a TV Anime adaptation that ran for two seasons, both are available now on Crunchyroll.
