With Burger King currently having a collaboration involving Shueisha and Takeru Hokazono’s Kagurabachi manga series, McDonald’s Japan announced a new collaboration involving Capcom’s Street Fighter video game franchise set to take place for a limited time starting Wednesday, October 22nd.
In this new collab, McDonald’s is releasing a new line of meals inspired by Capcom’s Street Fighter later this month, calling it “Street Burgers” as part of an inspired promotion that also includes ketchup-and-mustard-inspired costumes for the cast of Street Fighter 6. Three new sandwiches inspired by Ryu, Ken, and Chun-Li.
“Street Burgers” Sandwiches and Items:
- Ryu’s Burnt Garlic Mayo with Egg and Teriyaki (¥470)- A Ryu-inspired Beef Burger consisting of Burnt Garlic Mayonnaise with Egg, and Teriyaki.
- Chun-Li’s Yurinchi Fried Chicken Mayonnaise Burger (¥470)– This Chun-Li-inspired Chicken Sandwich consists of a Sweet and Sour mayonnaise that enhances the flavor of the Chicken.
- Ken’s Torichi Burger (¥470)– This Ken-inspired Torichi Burger comes with three flame-broiled hamburger patties, three pieces of cheese, pickles, onions, ketchup, and mustard.
- McFrizz Energy Drink (Left, ¥300)– A new carbonated apple juice.
- Available for an additional ¥50 with any value set.
- Available for an additional ¥70 with any combination.
- Contains 1% apple juice.
- Mcfloat Overflowing Energy Treat (Right, ¥380)– A Cool Treat consisting of Carbonated Apple Juice, topped with soft-serve ice cream.
- Available from 10:30 am until closing time (until 1 am the next day at 24-hour stores).
- Can be added to any value set for an additional 70 yen.
- Contains 1% apple juice.
- Double Cheese Sausage McMuffin (¥400)– A dish consisting of two sausage patties stacked with two pieces of cheese, ketchup, and two pickles sandwiched between an original muffin.
- Shaka Shaka Potato Seasoning ( Consommé Flavor, ¥40)– Considered to be the Umami of Potato Consommé, it is a great match with a burger.
- Available from 10:30 am at stores selling Breakfast Mac.
- Can be added to fries for an additional 40 yen.

The Street Fighter video game franchise was created by Takashi Nishiyama, and Hiroshi Matsumoto with Street Fighter on August 30, 1987. Since its debut, it has been followed by six main series games, various spin-off titles, crossovers, and numerous guest appearances in other media. Street Fighter is one of the highest-grossing video game franchises of all time and one of Capcom’s flagship series, with total sales of 56 million units worldwide as of March 2025. It is also one of the highest-grossing media franchises and is the longest-running fighting game franchise. The video game franchise has also inspired an animated television series, several OVAs, two animated films (Street Fighter II The Animated Movie, and Street Fighter Alpha: The Movie), and three live-action films (Street Fighter, Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li, and Street Fighter: Legacy). Finally, Street Fighter made cameo appearances in the 2012 Disney Film, Wreck-it-Ralph, and Warner Bros’ 2018 film, Ready Player One. It included manga and comic book adaptations, its most recent was from 2023 involving IDW Publishing titled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Vs. Street Fighter. Street Fighter 6 is available now on Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X. The new Street Fighter film is set to be released on Oct. 16, 2026.
