A new teaser was revealed at New York Comic-Con during the panel “Beyond Baki: Cosplay, Editing & New Challenges.” Where multiple anniversary projects were also announced, including the launch of the English Team Baki Twitter account.

The new teaser features Yujiro Hanma, who is looking over at his son Baki, hinting at the possibility that the greatest father-son battle could happen at any moment.
Baki the Grappler was originally serialized in the Shonen magazine, Weekly Shonen Champion from 1991 to 1999 and collected into 42 Tankobon volumes. The series inspired five sequels: Baki (1999 to 2005), Baki Hanma (2005 to 2012), Baki-Dou (2014 to 2018), Bakidou (2018 to 2023), Baki Rahen (2023), and one spin-off manga titled Gaiden. The series also consists of two OVAs, two anime adaptations, a video game adaptation, and two mobile games. Meanwhile, Kyodo Printing Co., Ltd.’s Kodama Tales Inc. announced in May that it is publishing Keisuke Itagaki’s Baki The Grappler manga worldwide in English in 24 volumes starting in October. Kyodo Printing will print the English physical versions in Japan. Volumes 1 and 2 are available now, while volumes 3 and 4 are available now to pre-order on Amazon.
