In a surprise move, Burger King Japan announced a new collaboration involving Takeru Hokazono’s Kagurabachi manga series. The new collaborative promotion was launched recently.
This new collaboration included three limited-time “Frame Smoke” burger sets, each of which featured a special smoky mayo sauce, which will be sold nationwide. Customers who purchase any set will receive one of three exclusive acrylic keyholders illustrated by Takeru Hokazono, available only while supplies last. (PLEASE NOTE: The Sets are available for In-Store Purchases Only. It does not qualify for delivery orders.)
Burger Sets (¥1,190 Each):
- Double Cheeseburger– Two flame-grilled beef patties, two cheddar slices, pickles, smoky mayo sauce, ketchup, mustard, sesame bun.
- Bacon Double Cheeseburger– Two flame-grilled beef patties, two cheddar slices, pickles, smoky mayo sauce, four slices of bacon, ketchup, mustard, and sesame bun.
- Chicken Double Cheeseburger– Two crispy chicken patties with cheddar cheese, pickles, smoky mayo sauce, ketchup, mustard, sesame bun.
- Each set comes with a Kagurabachi acrylic keyholder, available in three designs.
- Characters featured: Chihiro Rokuhira, Sazanami Hakuri, and Hiyuki Kagari.

Kagurabachi is written and illustrated by Takeru Hokazono, the series was first serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine on September 19, 2023, and is still an ongoing series. Its chapters have been collected into nine tankobon volumes as of October 2025. Viz Media and Shueisha’s Manga Plus platform are publishing the series in English. In March 2024, Viz Media announced the print release of the manga. In 2024, the series won the 10th Next Manga Award in the print category.
