There was shocking news coming from San Antonio Texas. A 25-year-old Cosplay Influencer named Kit Noel (Kendra Noel Manning) was arrested on Sunday for threatening to plant a bomb at the San Japan Anime + Gaming Convention, held last weekend at the Henry B. González Convention Center.

Manning replied to an Instagram story posted by another booth renter, writing “planting a bomb in their booth today” in reference to her dislike of the gaming nutrition company Gamer Supps. If you’re not familiar with what Gamer Supps is, it is an Energy supplement for Gamers, which is considered to be the leader in Gaming Supplements. They are known for its partnership with creators such as Caseoh, and VTubers such as Bao the Whale, BuffPup, and Shylily. Another attendee, concerned the threat could be real, alerted convention management, who in turn contacted the police.
Officers barred Manning from entering and issued her a criminal trespass warning. Police said the comments and behavior sparked real safety concerns and left people worried that a mass violence event could break out. Manning later acknowledged making the post before leaving the venue. She would later post a $35,000 bond, if convicted, Manning could face up to 10 years in prison. Meanwhile, people have weighed in on the situation, as always others blame this on either Cancel Culture, left-wing extremism, “succumbing to the woke mind virus,” or pushing other misinformation for clicks. The case remains under investigation.
