We’re weeks away from one of the most anticipated independent animated premieres today, Knights of Guinevere. This new series blends fairy tale fantasy with sci-fi horror, created by The Owl House alum Dana Terrace, John Baily Owen, and Zach Marcus.
In the new trailer, there were plenty of nods to Walt Disney (both the man and his company) that threw shade at Terrace’s former employer, who cut her animated series, The Owl House short because executives at The Walt Disney Company believed that it did not fit into what they deemed fit to be in the “Disney Brand.” Also, due to the serialized nature of the show and an audience that “skews older”, rather than its LGBTQIA+ representation. The trailer also confirmed that the pilot would debut on GLITCH’s YouTube Channel on September 19th. The new trailer has already pushed past 2 million views in two short days.
