Pokémon Legends Z-A Latest Trailer Reveals Mega-Victreebel

The past couple of days, the Official Pokémon Twitter account shared horror-themed teasers of what would be coming up in Pokémon Legends Z-A. Some thought it would be a teaser for a Ghost Pokémon, or perhaps a teaser featuring the Hex Maniac.. but they flipped the script and revealed Victreebel’s Mega-Evolution form!

In a new press release, The Pokémon Company revealed new information on this Kanto Grass Type’s Mega-Evolution. “The volume of this Pokémon’s acid has increased due to Mega Evolution, filling its mouth. If it’s not careful, the acid will overflow and spill out.” Listed below are its stats:

Pokémon Legends: Z-A will be available on Oct. 16, 2025, on the Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch systems. A Nintendo Switch 2 + Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition bundle will also be available.
