Summer has certainly proven to be one of the hottest, but it’s also the most heroic time of the year, with films such as Warner Bros/DC Studios’ Superman and Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps (July 25th) arriving in theaters, but they will be joined by the double-billed Kamen Rider Gavv and No. 1 Sentai Gozyuger Summer Films! Both films received a final trailer.
Starting with Gavv’s new film, Kamen Rider Gavv: Invaders of the House of Snacks previewed the film’s new theme music titled CANDY BLAZE, performed by FANTASTICS from Exile Tribe, who will also be making an appearance in the new film, and will be part of the Opening Day Stage Greeting Event. In the new trailer, it revealed a new original form for Gavv titled Kamen Rider Gavv Hexenheim. He can transform into Hexenheim thanks to a new Gochizo from the Candy House. According to Oricon, Expectations are high for his overwhelming power and presence. What kind of performance will he deliver on the big screen?
As for the final trailer for No.1 Sentai Gozyuger: TegaSword of Resurrection, we witness firsthand the death of TegaSword, the return of a powerful foe, and a hint at the end of humanity. It is brought forth by Pentis, the last remnant of the Calamity. Pentis brings with it soldiers that resemble past foot soldiers of Super Sentai’s past, the trailer even revealed past Red Sentai Rangers making a bold entrance. The film is part of Super Sentai’s 50th Anniversary, marking the birth of a new legend that is filled with the action and charm that Super Sentai has always been known for. For those who were wondering, Shotaro Ishinomori will receive the Original Creator Credit for both films. For those who aren’t familiar with Ishinomori’s work, he is known for creating not only Kamen Rider, but for Super Sentai, and other works such as Cyborg 009, and Android Kikaider.

Kamen Rider Gavv and No. 1 Sentai Gozyuger air on TV Asahi’s Super Hero Time Program Block on Sundays at 9 am JST. Kamen Rider Gavv: The Invaders of the House of Snacks and No.1 Sentai Gozyuger: TegaSword of Resurrection Debuts in Theaters across Japan on July 25th.
