We’re a month away from the long-awaited return of Superman in theaters, and Warner Bros is stepping up their marketing campaign with the release of six new character posters, which include Superman, Krypto, one of Superman’s Robots, and the Justice Gang.
The Character Posters were posted on the Superman Film’s social media feed, giving fans a better look at the new heroes and the confirmation that Alan Tudyk (Harley Quinn, Transformers: Earthspark, Ice Age) will be taking on the role of Superman Robot #4. The character posters for Edi Gathegi (Mister Terrific), Nathan Fillion (Guy Gardner), Isabela Merced (Hawkgirl), Anthony Carrigan (Metamorpho), and Ozu (Krypto) look great, great detail to the Mister Terrific and the other gang member’s costumes. Also, one other thing for fans to check out is the newest interview with Nicholas Hoult in the newest issue of Empire Magazine, where he discusses the inspiration for his portrayal of Superman’s arch nemesis, Lex Luthor. Joining them will be David Corenswet as Superman/Clark Kent, and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane.

This has been described as the DCU’s True Beginning. This is Superman’s first solo film since Zack Snyder’s 2013 film, Man of Steel. A lot is riding on this film due to Warner Bros Discovery’s Superhero film division facing scrutiny due to constant box office flops. Which included its biggest Box Office Flop, The Flash, in which the company lost an estimated $155 million, and Joker: Folie à Deux, which also lost between $150 million to $200 million. The new DCU soft-launched in December with James Gunn’s animated series, Creature Commandos. Following Superman, fans can look forward to next year’s Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow (based on writer Tom King and Artist Bilquis Evely’s comic book story) movie, and the Green Lantern Corps with the down-to-Earth TV series Lanterns.
