During the weekend, it was announced that Hell would be getting bigger with its newest addition to Prime Video, Vivienne Medrano’s Helluva Boss will be joining the lineup beside Hazbin Hotel in a new deal that would not only expand the Hellaverse, but also extend its run.
The Spin-off web series has been picked up for a two-season renewal as Vivienne Medrano closed a first-look deal with the streamer, the announcement was made during the LVL UP Expo. It was also confirmed that it will finally bring the two shows together for the first time that the two series exist in the same Hellaverse. It has been touted as a first-of-its-kind deal, where the first two seasons of Helluva Boss will debut on Prime Video in the Fall, with episodes continuing to be available on YouTube. Subsequent seasons will have an exclusive window on Prime Video. Helluva Boss will be available on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. With Prime Video teaming up with Spindlehorse, the deal also gives Medrano full creative control.

This news is coming off a recent announcement regarding the Hazbin Hotel’s Soundtrack being nominated for Favorite Soundtrack, joining Arcane: League of Legends Season Two, Moana 2, Twisters: The Album, and Wicked. Speaking of Hazbin Hotel, it was announced at SDCC 2024 that it was also picked up for a third and fourth season, which follows up from the two-season order from Amazon previously.
