As we continue to enjoy Kuuga’s 25th Anniversary, a brand-new set of merchandise has been revealed that celebrates the first Heisei Rider, Kamen Rider Kuuga.
In a new announcement on the Kamen Rider’s official website, a special fair was being held on March 20th, Vernal Equinox Day. In this new fair, stores in Tokyo and Osaka featured two life-size statues of Kuuga (Rising Mighty Form) in Tokyo, and Kuuga (Mighty Form) in Osaka. The Ishinomori Manga Museum also participated in the first day’s event with a special sticker giveaway campaign.
According to the Store’s official Twitter account, the Kamen Rider Kuuga Fair has been a hit, it has been seeing a high demand which has caused the stores to restrict entry and distribute numbered tickets for entry, and certain items that were featured in the fair were sold out, which are listed below, along with a visual of what items were presented at the Fair. Please Note: The Kamen Rider Kuuga 25th Anniversary Fair is taking place in Tokyo (First Avenue Tokyo Station), Osaka, and the Ishinomori Manga Museum (Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture).

Also, to celebrate Kuuga’s 25th Anniversary, it was announced in January that there will be a Super Kuuga Exhibition, which will be held in four cities in Japan, starting with the Tokyo Venue in June 2025. It will be followed by Fukuoka, Nagoya, and Osaka over a year, and is also scheduled to be held in Asia in 2026. It was also announced that Shigenori Takatera (Denji Sentai Megaranger, Seiju Sentai Gingaman, and Kamen Rider Kuuga) will be serving as the Exhibiton’s Supervisor.
Kamen Rider Kuuga serves as not only the tenth installment in the Kamen Rider Franchise but also the very first Kamen Rider in the Heisei Period. It was the first standalone Kamen Rider Television Series since Kamen Rider RX, it revived the franchise and brought the series into the 21st Century. Kuuga was the first Kamen Rider Television Series that was broadcast in a wide-screen (letterbox) format, which premiered on January 30, 2000, to January 21, 2001, consisting of 49 episodes, and four specials. It would inspire two manga spin-offs, one featured in TeleCoro Comic magazine, and its reboot series written by Toshiki Inoue and illustrated by Hitotsu Yokoshima, which would be later licensed by Titan Publishing Group for English publication under their new manga imprint. Kamen Rider Kuuga also inspired a S.I.C. Hero Saga Story series, a novel, and a video game. KAMEN RIDER KUUGA is available now on Tubi, SHOUT! Factory, Blu-ray, and YouTube.
