Digimon Con was streamed recently, and we’re looking at the biggest announcements from the livestreamed event. One of the biggest was a new Digimon TV Anime, Digimon Beatbreak was revealed, along with a special Digimon Adventure -Beyond- 25th Anniversary PV. Let’s take a look!
Digimon Tamers and Digimon From Original Anime Appear For New TCG Starter Decks
First up, we’re looking at the new Digimon TCG Starter Decks, Protector of Light, and Hero of Hope. Each deck contains 54 cards, including 6 Bonus Card Types that will feature not only Digimon but will also feature Digimon Tamers from the Original Anime. Each Deck will include Six Scramble Cards that are uniquely designed and in six different colors. A special Release Event is happening from April 18 through May 9, 2025, called Welcome Tamers Meetup, which features a promotional booster pack that contains deluxe printed cards from ST-20 & ST-21. Tamers will be able to pick up these Starter Decks beginning on April 18, 2025, for 15.99 USD, while Tamers in Japan will be able to pick it up on April 19 for 1,650 yen (tax included). Also, Tamers can combine cards from both Starter Decks to make a stronger deck!
Another TCG Booster Pack line, World Convergence will include Digimon and Tamers from every Digimon Anime! Appmon makes its Debut and includes autographed cards from Seven popular artists ranging from sasasi, Nakano Haito, As’Maria, Naochika Morishita, toriyufu, Tonamikanji, and Keita Amemiya. The English Version’s Pre-Release Date has been set for April 18, 2025, and the main release date has been set for April 25, priced at 4.99 USD. Free-to-play Digimon Online Card Game, Digimon Alysion announced for iOS and Android
It’s a brand-new way to play the Digimon Card Game, Digimon Alysion! In this new free-to-play game, users will be able to play the Digimon Card Game, and new game-original cards will be featured. New Digimon and characters will also make their debut. It will be available to play for iOS and Android, but no release date has been set. Details for a closed beta have been set for a later date.
More Information on GODZILLA VS. Digimon Color Has Been Released
Four months ago, we got a first look at a brand-new collaboration involving Godzilla and Digimon called GODZILLA VS. Digimon Color. Now, we’re getting a look at the newest digital pet toys that will include Kaiju from the iconic Godzilla franchise and Digimon. Premium Bandai has already begun taking pre-orders for these two-tone digital toys. Also, available now on Premium Bandai is the newest figure in the Godzilla VS. Digimon Color Collab, the MetalGreymon G: Erosion Mode Figure.

Digimon -Beyond- PV Promotes Digimon’s 25th Anniversary
Ever wonder what happened before the end of Digimon Adventure 02? Well, wonder no more because a special promotional video was streamed during the convention, signaling the end of the 25th Anniversary celebration. The description for this video: Time has passed since that summer adventure, and there are even more children with partner Digimon now. However, because of their unique nature, many children face the looming shadows of persecution and being targeted for military use. While Taichi and Yamato are working to rescue the children, they are attacked by the mysterious Digimon.
Digimon Beatbreak Announced

It’s the first Digimon anime in three years, Digimon Beatbreak was unveiled at Digimon Con, and at this time there was no cast and staff list available. It was confirmed to be released in October 2025, with Toei Animation handling the production.
