Solo Leveling Takes The Lead In Circana’s Top 20 Adult Graphic Novels for February

Stop me if you’ve heard this one, but Manga and Manwha have taken over the Top 20 Best-Selling Adult Graphic Novels Chart for another month according to Circana (formerly NPD) BookScan data for February 2025 (2/2/2025 – 3/1/2025), the only big change for this month is that Chainsaw Man Vol. 17 got knocked down to No. 7, last month it was No. 1. What replaced it you might ask? Why, it was CHUGONG’s Solo Leveling Volume 11.

In a quick change-up, two-second volumes stood out the most, and that was Kagurabachi, from VIZ Media, and The Guy She Was Interested in Wasn’t a Guy at All, from Yen Press. A fun fact about both of these titles is that Takeru Hokazono’s Kagurabachi is that it has been one of the most talked about and popular manga titles for Viz Media and Shueisha, it became so popular, that voice actor Aleks Le (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Vinland Saga, Rent-A-Girlfriend) released a special dub voice-over of the Kagurabachi promotional video when it first was announced in a new licensing deal. Not to mention already teasing a TV Anime adaptation. Also, Sumiko Arai’s The Guy She Was Interested in Wasn’t a Guy at All was one of Yen Press’s Top Manga Debuts of 2024, and was confirmed to also be getting a TV Anime Adaptation
