Housemarque Unveils Saros as it’s follow-up game after Returnal
Housemarque announced its newest project as a follow-up to its 2022 roguelite shooter, Returnal called Saros. It has been described as the “Ultimate Evolution” of the Housemarque gameplay-first experience by Creative Director, Gregory Louden, who also described SAROS as a new single-player IP, that builds on Returnal’s third-person action. SAROS will be released in 2026 for PlayStation 5, and enhanced for PS5 Pro.
Set on the planet Carcosa under the threat of an ominous eclipse, take on the role of Arjun Devraj, a powerful Soltari Enforcer searching for answers on a lost off-world colony.
SAROS features permanent progression systems, where every death reshapes the world while offering new upgrades to overcome challenges. With a haunting story, deep third-person action, and a grounded performance by Rahul Kohli, SAROS presents the next evolution in Housemarque’s gameplay-first experience.
Days Gone Remastered Revealed For April 2025
The next big remastered game is Bend Studio’s post-apocalyptic adventure, Days Gone. Days Gone Remastered will have VRR and PS5 Pro support, features will include permadeath and speedrun modes as well as an enhanced photo mode and additional accessibility features. It will also include Horde Assault, a special arcade mode that will feature bigger hordes of Freakers than players are used to. Days Gone Remastered April 25, 2025. Those who purchase the PS4 version of Days Gone can upgrade to the PS5 remastered version for $10.
Leslie Benzies’ MindsEye Gets A New Trailer and Summer 2025 Release Window
From the former GTA series developer, Leslie Benzies comes MindsEye. MindsEye focuses on Jacob Diaz, a former soldier who is haunted by a covert mission gone wrong and, to make matters worse, he has a mysterious neural implant called a MindsEye that plagues him with “fragmented memories and is desperate to uncover the truth about his past.” While having to cross paths with an AI Army, players will be able to take action on the ground, in cars, and even in the skies as they uncover more of Jacob’s story. MindsEye will be released in the Summer of 2025.
