Several days ago, the official website for the upcoming Mobile Suit Gundam TV anime, Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX revealed on Sunday new cast and characters, and mobile suits that will appear in the series, which will air on a later date.

Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- made its debut in theaters on January 17, and debuted at #1 in the Japanese box office in its opening weekend. It sold 352,500 tickets and earned 598,832,300 yen (about US$3.85 million) in its first three days. It stayed at #1 in its second weekend in the Japanese box office, selling 306,000 tickets and earning 527,562,300 yen (about US$3.39 million). The anime is screening in 426 theaters, including 52 IMAX theaters. GKIDS acquired the theatrical distribution rights for the re-edited theatrical version of the upcoming TV anime, which is set to be screened in theaters across North America on February 28.
