On Wednesday, Twin Engine shared a brand-new music video for the second film in the Mononoke Film Trilogy, Mononoke the Movie Trilogy: Chapter 2: The Ashes of Rage (Gekijōban Mononoke Dai-Ni-Shō: Hinezumi). The new video features the new theme song performed by Aina The End.
The new theme song titled Hana Musо̄ will be part of the new Mononoke Film, no release date for the single has been confirmed yet but the article will be updated when the release date for the single has been announced. The second film was confirmed to cover the tale of the Fire Rat with Hiroshi Kamiya returning to reprise the role of the Medicine Seller, joining him will be Haruka Tomatsu as Botan Ōtomo, Yōko Hikasa as Fuki Tokita, and Yūki Kaji as Saburōmaru Tokita. Two new cast members were also announced recently, Kenyuu Horiuchi will be taking up the role of Rōjū Ōtomo and Chō to portray Yoshimichi Tokita.

EOTA and Twin Engine are handling the animation production with Kenji Nakamura returning to direct the Mononoke Film. Kitsuneko Nagata provides the original character designs, Yuuichi Takahashi provides the animation character designs and serves as chief animation director, and Taku Iwasaki provides the music. The first film, Mononoke The Movie: Phantom in the Rain is currently streaming on Netflix.
The anime series premiered in 2007 and consisted of 12 episodes, Mononoke was a spin-off series of Ayakashi – Samurai Horror Tales. Mononoke the Movie Trilogy: Chapter 2: The Ashes of Rage (Gekijōban Mononoke Dai-Ni-Shō: Hinezumi) is set to premiere in theaters on March 14.
