It’s getting closer to one of the biggest events in the Anime Industry, Anime Japan. It is one of the largest Japanese anime exhibition events held annually in Tokyo since March 2014, today they have released a brand-new visual for the event and unveiled its official ambassadors.

The new visual features around 22 characters that range from shows such as Haruka Sakura from WINDBREAKER, Maomao from The Apothecary Diaries, Kitaro from GeGeGe no Kitaro, Oscar François de Jarjayes from the Rose of Versailles, and Jungle Emperor (Kimba The White Lion). Listed below are the characters that are featured:

Joining the year’s AnimeJapan event will be one of the most popular Girl Idol groups from Japan, Sakurazaka46. Sakurazaka46 has participated in events and festivals all over the world and has continued to transmit the high quality of their performances and Japanese idol culture. Crunchyroll has exclusive comments from Sakurazaka46’s Rina Matsuda.

As for the Exhibitors List, Anime Japan has also confirmed that this year’s Exhibition Hall event will be seeing its largest yet, taking over the entire East Exhibition Hall at Tokyo Big Sight. More than 110 companies have been confirmed to be attending this event. Anime Japan is scheduled to open at Tokyo Big Sight in Tokyo on March 22 and 23, 2025. Further updates on AnimeJapan 2025, including information on the Stage lineup, will be revealed in “AnimeJapan KICKOFF 2025,” which is scheduled to stream on the event’s official YouTube channel on January 17 at 20:00 (JST) / 03:00 (PT). Sakurazaka46 members will serve as narrators.
